Caress
Product & Development Manager
The product and development expert behind Ferrol & Mariner, Caress has clocked up over 20 years as a supplier to several major Australian retail chains.
Given Caress's considerable experience in product development, working in her own business was an inevitable step.
In the industry, Caress is known for her "fix it" ability as she has a knack for fixing problems encountered during development through to its delivery.
Caress is also known for her refusal to "ship shit", a phrase coined by Caress at her last employment where she refused to ship products that were under whelming and/or not up to scratch.
“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.”

Partners
Over the years Caress has forged strong professional relationships with many overseas suppliers/factories to which remain loyal business partners to this day.
Between our business and our overseas partners, we say nothing is ever impossible. They will source the materials and deal direct with manufacturers.
Not everyone is able to do this, and from our experience, it takes many years to develop and to understand them and their businesses intimately, which is why we will be a key asset to your clothing business.
Our overseas business partners manufacture and supply to many large successful global brands sold worldwide, of which we have the utmost adoration and respect for.
Order Quantity
We have extensive experience in manufacturing clothes in today's competitive market. Some of our clothing experience include denim, fully fashion knitwear, cut & sew, woven, suitings, and accessories.
When it comes to prioritising orders, however, we can do low minimum order quantities (MOQ) due to our positive relationships. This is, however, dependent on the product type due to various factory requirements. Most factories have an MOQ of 500 - 1000 units, which is a lot more cost effective for factories.
For some products, however, we can do MOQ's of 10. We'll be able to let you know after a few weeks if this is possible.
Sustainability
We're concerned with growing consumerism and in particular fast fashion and the impact this industry has on our environment. We're looking at ways to ensure our philosophy supports recycling and regeneration within the countries whom we deal with.
This will continue to be an area of priority for us as we attempt to navigate a better future for the fashion industry.
New quality assurance and recycling practices at our overseas factories lend increasing support to the notion of sustainability. We've inspected these first hand and confident our partners are motivated to ensure they comply with government standards surrounding recycling and waste.
This will continue to be an area of priority for us as we attempt to navigate a better future for the fashion industry.
